The Challenge

MDI worked with a major turbine technology designer through the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The sensor was to be used to verify jet engine performance after assembly or maintenance. The sensor was capable of measuring up to 10,000 Ft-Lb torque and can operate at up to 30,000 rpm.
